Marks & Spencer

Packaging design for flower delivery

Ravensbourne | 2015

Winning design of the Marks & Spencer packaging competition 2015.

M&S has a reputation for providing fabulous flowers to their customers both in-store and online. The challenge for this competition was to produce a concept that showcased their bouquets for home delivery and provide the customer with a big reveal moment. The concept would have to protect and facilitate bouquets with and without water. My response to this challenge was to have a three sided design, this improved the rigidity of the packaging and strengthen the corners due to the acute angles. The sleeve and ribbon release added a theatrical aspect to the unboxing of the flowers, helping create that big reveal experience.
