Cobham Training Centre is the training ground of Chelsea Football Club located in Surrey within London’s green belt. As part of the Cobham Design Enhancement brief, Heart was engaged to ideate concepts and produce an installation to celebrate the success of the men’s and women’s first teams; later named ‘Signs of Success’. The installation had to be beautiful, in keeping with the look and feel of the men’s training building and modular to allow for the addition of newly won trophies. The men’s building was finished with a brass facade which was one of the main obstacles of the project. This continuously weathering substrate made it challenging to colour match to a specific RAL colour for the final installation.
