A compact, easy and effective way to wash your clothes manually, without the mess and damage of hand washing and wringing clothing. Woshpod is the outcome of a brief to improve sustainable washing in the home. Aimed at city dwellers and students who may not have the space or money for a washing machine, and consequently turn to uneconomical hand washing instead. The outcome of this project was lead by extensive first hand research into manual cleaning and drying methods. Below you can see a few of the hacked prototypes we used to test these methods.
